Akkor bukkantam rá, mikor motivációs idézeteket kerestem valahova. Egyből megfogott - bár az egyik legnehezebb vers, amivel dolgom volt.
Devecseri Gábor fordítása kihozza szerintem a legtöbbet ebből a tömör, kőkemény szerkezetből, amit fordítással ki lehet, de nyelvtörő a szöveg, és a ritmuson is csak nagy gyakorlással lehet rajta maradni. Iszonyatosan kell figyelni akár két sorral előrébb is, hogy a rím kijöjjön, hogy ne cseszd el.
Érdekes, hogy sokan elsietik szavalás közben. Aztán, mikor én is elkezdtem szavalgatni ezt a verset, én is elsiettem. :) Nem tudom, miért van, talán a sorok közt áthúzódó rímek miatt. Vagy a hatalmas feszültség miatt, hiszen olyan képekkel operál, amik tényleg nehéz helyzetek valakinek az életében...
Kerestem egy ideig azt a hangot, ami passzol hozzá. Még Michael Caine is elvérzett...
